Dear Guys,

i using win10 with gen8 since years, works nice for gaming (with 1030gt nvidia), nas and personal use, but after a reinstall (ssd change) it looks like, became slower. If i remember, last install i found a 'home made' driver pack for win8/win10. Chipset, usb, sata..

Maybe somebody knows it and have? :) thanks!

2.70 is the latest version. Are you logging into iLo from the MS Gen8 or a different computer?

If you are having issues upgrading the BIOS through iLo, you can also update the BIOS by booting from a USB stick.

You may want to update iLo to the latest version.

Do you have an OS on the server?

Yup i currently have a test OS untill i get my SSD for the OSS caddy and the other HDDs. I have ubuntu running. The rpm can not be converted to deb it said :( probably because i did not have all the libs.

I've retrying the update.

Just to make sure its the CPQJ0613.684 file and i load it in the Administration -> firmware section right?

Adding another question.

I've changed the default http and https from 80 and 443 to... lets say port 88 and 44443 in iLo. Why is it that if i access the page but end it in :80 i still see iLo landing page but without login? I'm trying to host nextcloud on port 80 and 443 and it seems something in iLo is highjacking the port.

Any recommendations would be appreciated.

      Hi
My HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 won't install HP Tools when I have running HP Smart Update Manager.
even when I have trying to install via Intelligent Provising, Windows Server 2019.

      Se image below 🙂 That's I missing.. ;-(

      Hi everyone.

      New to this forum.
I have a gen8 microserver running at home, where I have installed an SSD in the ODD sata slot. On the SSD I have installed Ubuntu Server 18.04.
I have then created a logical volume witht the raid controller and can then boot to the SSD. So far so good.
My problem emerges when I reboot the system. The logical volume disapears and it gives the error: "boot logical drive is configured but is missing or offline".
I then have to go into the utility and reconfigure the logical volume. Kind of annoying, when trying to run a headless setup.
