A little more information about the USB ports.  It seems that there may be 4 USB 3.0 ports on the back.

I also saw on the Microserver Facebook page where someone stated the eSATA port is gone.  They were also discussing pricing and mentioned retail price of $499 - $599.

Honestly, I can't get upset about the eSATA port. I'd rather have more USB3 ports. The price is a little higher than I would like but, hopefully, there will be discounts at the retail level.

Price isn't a shocker...the N54L on HP's site is $389 right now.  That would make this newer version about $100 more.

At $499....I'm a buyer.   Just waiting on the Holiday weekend sales to kick in.

I'm seeing $499 for the G530T and $599 for theG630T but HP's list on the N54L is ~$400 and Newegg has been running those as low as $240 so..............

According to Mitsimonsta at OCAU

The G530T/G630T Microserver will have a Broadcom BCM5717 based NIC, which supports teaming and Jumbo Frames as well as Checksum offload. See page 48 of PDF linked. Just don't ask how I know it's a BCM5717.

That should make some people happy!

I have been running the WHS1 pack 3 for many years.  Unfortunately it is no longer working.  I got a Proliant microserver Gen10 hoping it will run it but was unable to install the software.  The software should run on most older PCs?

Does anyone have the WHS1 running on the Gen10?  Also my WHS1 iso is Pack 1.  If I manage to install the Pack 1 can I find on the web the upgrade to pack 3?  Would I be forever stuck at Pack 1?  Any advice would be appreciated.

      Hey guys,

Has anyone around here been successful in setting up Proxmox on a Gen8 using a HBA for storage?

      Hey guys,

Bit of a random question here, and I know it depends on many factors such as what they are doing etc, but how many VMs have you guys comfortably ran on Gen8 with an E3-1265v2 and 16GB RAM? When did you start to see a performance hit compared to what the Gen8 is generally capable of?

      Hi,

I’m looking for the latest Proliant SPP for Gen. 8 servers.

      I’ve got a MicroServer, a DL360e and a DL380e which I’d love to update.

Has anyone got the latest SPP that wouldn’t mind sharing?

      Thank you!

      Hi
My HP Proliant Microserver Gen 8 won't install HP Tools when I have running HP Smart Update Manager.
even when I have trying to install via Intelligent Provising, Windows Server 2019.

      Se image below 🙂 That's I missing.. ;-(
