I'm really thinking about getting this 27" IPS from AOC

I had two in the cart and then noticed no HDMI input. Darn!

HDMI currently tops out at 1080 resolution.

I didn't know that. Glad it didn't have HDMI then as I would have bought it and then been upset.

The display from Monoprice is DVI only.

DisplayPort-DVI adapter cable?

Peeps are looking at the wrong one. THIS is the one everyone should be buying

I looked at that display too.  I am just curious if there is any advantage to this display over the one that is $85 cheaper?  Or are you just saying there is a similar display that has all the input options that people are looking for?

Also, I think you are using the Dell 30" IPS monitors.  What are your thoughts on these displays from Monoprice?

Thanks schoondoggy. Good info. Some interesting new features in 1.4 for sure.

It is hard to tell the differences between the two.

Number of input choices is obvious, the base may be a bit more adjustable.

Maybe a better panel.

If you read the reviews, a fee people could not get the monitor($390.60) to work. I assume this was their issue;

This monitor is equipped with a DVI-D Dual Link input ONLY. It REQUIRES a video card capable of producing a DVI-D DUAL LINK signal. If you are unsure of whether your system is compatible with this monitor or not, please contact Monoprice Technical Support for assistance.

That makes a lot of sense. Both of my Dell 30" UltraSharp monitors require dual link. I think most higher end monitors do.
