There are more tuning settings for Smartplacement to allow fine control over where you want your files to be put, front, back, in what order and how much space in between. Also, since PD10 you could adjust the idle threshold where the automatic defrag will run, and make it more or less sensitive to system load.

I don't really see any evidence that all these tweaks improve performance or anything.. I think defaults are just fine.

I forgot, there's also a new function to defrag only selected files. This is pretty useful if you see an important file in the list of heavily fragmented files and you want to fix that without having to defrag the whole disk.
