dvn
Nice price point. Have we decided whether these EARS models will work in WHS?
ThatGeekGuy
What I've heard is that they're fine for anything but the system drive, YMMV.... Follow Me On Twitter: ThatGeekGuyTech News, Great Buys, Reviews & More....
dvn
They're fine as in they don't need any special attention to formatting? Just add them as storage pool, for example, and you're good to go?
ThatGeekGuy
There's some discussion regarding these drives over at MediaSmartServer.net. I always pre-format any drive I add to the pool anyways....

eobie
get the drive from newegg for the same price with free shipping.. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136514
ThatGeekGuy
eobie, Amazon is the same price and free shipping, so just a matter of who you prefer to buy from. Most of the time I prefer Amazon in case I need to return anything, they're much more 'understanding'. But back to NewEgg, I order from them quite a bit as well. They also have another 2TB @ $139 deal, a Hitachi w/32MB cache. Use code EMCYRYW62: http://bit.ly/cnxwe9
