System Restore Question

I'm currently listening to #83 and you guys inspired this question. If WHS saves a copy of the NIC drivers in a special place, does it save other necessary drivers as well? For example, on my gaming rig, I have a raid 0 array as my system drive. Does WHS System Restore know to grab the raid drivers in case of a failure?

Yes it does save a copy of all of your hardware drivers. There is a couple of gotchas though. If your system is 64 bit the drivers stored in the folder in Windows Home Server Drivers for Restore cannot be used for drivers during the setup of the system restore. They are there simply for the Restore to use during the actual rebuild of the system once the WHS restore is rebuilding the drive(s). If your system is 64 bit it will do you know good to copy these drivers to your restore CD since the restore works in a Vista 32 bit environment. As such you will need to find Vista 32 bit drivers for your NIC and because of the RAID0 HDD most likely that controller too.
