Perhaps you'll tell us? :D

If know one else knows - I may try it on another laptop.  I just used my windows pro 8 upgrade key and my media center pack key on this one.  As far as I can tell you can't re use a media center pack key.

So I was finally able to back up and restore my yoga with no issues.  The solution was I setup a virtual server 2012 essentials pc.  Once I ran all the normal updates, there were no issues at all.

Guess I'm switching to 2012 essentials from 2011.

I think this Hotfix is still separate from the normal update path.

Is it still separate from normal Windows Update?

Just setting up my client computers which are stuck at 1%.

I tried to post before, but apparently it didn't post. AFAIK, the hotfix is still a hotfix, not an update. Hotfixes are never included in Windows Update, so you have to download them specifically.

It worked  :D .  New UEFI client backup 100% sucessful, Woo Hoo!

Have you guys heard of any issues with actually using the backups?  I see the list of known issues on that page, so just wondering if those known issues are common when actually needing to use the backup.
