Ok, I just got around looking into this hotfix. I don't have any UEFI clients so I really didn't have any compelling reason to apply it back when it came out a few months ago. But just in case that would change anytime soon, I decided to at least download it.

However, when I get to the download site, it presented me with not one but three Hotfixes. Do I apply all three?

I was finally able to download the update and thankfully I can now backup my new yoga.  I also had an issue restoring my macbook pro boot camp partition.  I wonder if this update will fix that as well?

Just for the record, as I understand it, all those hotfix links lead to the same file. Why there are so many links I don't know, but I've been led to believe there is really only 1 download.

No, take the third one.  But like you said.  You have no UEFI clients so why install it?

I think he meant he didn't have any UEFI clients, but now he has a Yoga.

So I am now trying to restore my UEFI laptop (Lenovo Yoga) to ensure that actually works - after installing the UEFI update.

What happens if I use the 32 bit restore option to restore a 64 bit OS (windows 8)?  Choosing the 64 bit option gives me an error.
