WS2012E Hard Drive Question

Hello. Im planning ws2012e server install. I am wondering if there is any benefit to using and ssd in raid 1 for the boot drive besides bootup speed. I have never really used one before. I know they are faster booting but dont know if it is really worth it to put them in a server. I thought I had read a post by no control saying that they were not worth it but I think that was using hyper-v as the OS but I cant remember. Thanks for the input.

Definitely worth doing in my opinion. However, I am thinking about using VelociRaptors or similar on my next server build so I have a little bit more reliability.

How many times in a month do you reboot the server to take advantage of this?  I'd use a spindle for redundancy rather than for speed.

There is so much more than startup. It makes everything faster. From the console to applications.
