Tuesday's Updates

Recommended Posts

No one has mentioned any issues, but I did run across a couple, albeit easily solved. There were a couple of Dot Net (.Net) updates pushed and if you go to your Dashboard and see "No Acitivity" under Alerts combined with missing clients and drives, make sure all of your Services that are set to "Automatic" are actually running.

The one for me that was not running was the Windows Server Initialization service. Only the WHS 2011 was affected and not my WSE 2012.

If you see clients that appear to be offline and you know better, do the same on them and check the Services applet.
