Recommendation For 8 Port Gigabit Switch

I have tested a couple of new switches lately and they are actually slower than my old Airlink model.

Through the Lanspeedtest appliction, which is really good by the way, I get about 750 Mbps read and 520 Mbps write. The new ones I have tested are about thirty per cent slower overall. Thanks.

PS. The reason I am replacing the Airlink is because it is only a 5 port.

I need an an 8 port ikon. The Airlink is a 5 port. As I stated in my question. :P

I was just a cheap one I bought about 5 years ago. But is was apparently pretty good compared to the new ones I tested.

I have one of these in my Home Office D-Link DGS-1008G Gigabit Desktop Switch and I've been happy with it but then again (full Disclosure) I'm a D-Link FanBoy.
