Can't gain access to remote web access

Perhaps you should re-enable UPnP and do the tests on WHS to ensure there are no errors with it, then I will try again.

Did you? Interesting. I've only ever gotten the popup I described. I don't normally use RWA so I forget what the login page looks like. Is it similar to V1; you know, the one with the picture of the family on a picnic?

yes i have enable UPnP agane :)

Are you trying to connect from inside your LAN, or outside?

I'm able to hit your login page.   Just a dumb question (since I'm also pretty dumb about this kind of stuff), have you given the user names on your server the permissions to use remote access?

Yes, I get the login prompt too.

No, this one had a pic of two people, one the girlfriend I presume. I know it is Port 443, because that is the only port I can use form work, over a secure network to get to my server.

He needs to verify port forwarding against the current IP address of the server.

yes thats the one! :)

Did you test it on the WHS Remote Web Access configuration page? I'm still getting the same login popup I've been getting all along.

thank you for all you in put guys i am grateful for all your help :)

You're very welcome. I suspect we're very close to getting it working. It's most likely one small item that needs a tweak.

Yes, it does help. I see a major problem right off.

Notice the Router IP address: 82.26.94.188. That's not even close to the one that commandcenter.homeserver.com resolves to: 173.160.132.81.

It appears jmwills is right: you ISP changed your internet IP address. It could simply be that the DNS servers on the internet have not caught up yet.

So, I tried connecting to https://82.26.94.188 and, guess what, SUCCESS!!! I got a login screen with a very closeup picture of a man and woman's face. The woman has a lot of red-eye. I am now logged in and a screen with a box of links on the left and Media Library on the right.

You can't use that address from inside your LAN. You have to use the server's LAN IP, probably a 192 address, such as https://192.168.0.101.

Try getting your g/f to try https://82.26.94.188. it should work for her.
