Excessive Storage

I recently took advantage of the promo code offered by the homeservershow and added some more internal storage. I might have gotten a bit carried away...

Sometimes it is bad to see all those specials. I was going to jump on some of them but decided with the way prices are dropping I would wait. It may not be long before we see 2 TB drives for $100 to $125 on sell.

I do actually store DVD and have duplication turn on for most folders but not everything. I also have a second server that has content as well.

@pcdoc: You are a WD man I see... I don't have any particular brand affinity, but is it a conscious choice on your part or just because WD gives good deals? I'd like to hear anything about disk quality in general and whether I should be choosing one brand over another.

I definetly am a WD fanboy. I had several issues with seagate and the deskstars and have locked in to WD. I have over 25 of them right now in my array of systems.

You're almost getting close to the max # of drives supported by WHS, which I believe is 30.
