awraynor
The starting funding level is $10, so it can be an impulse fund. Jim Metzendorf is supposedly a professional in the podcasting arena, so starting at $10 you can gain from his expertise. http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/jmetzendorf/the-professionals-guide-to-podcast-production?ref=category
Dave
So.....what are you trying to say. Huh?
cskenney
Seems a bit steep in cost when Dave has offered his professional help for free to help any willing person launch their podcasting career. http://homeservershow.com/go-from-podcast-listener-to-creator.html
ikon
kind of seems like an odd KS project overall.
Dave
Well, he is an excellent audio guy no doubt about it. I could always use help on the audio portion.
geek-accountant
Wait, so this guy has a Kickstarter project to help him raise funds to produce a document he could then sell (I assume sell, but maybe he is giving it away) on how to make a good podcast? Isn't there ton's of that already out there? There is even a podcast on podcasting already. Also, I would assume the document will be a PDF or some other digital format, so what is his out of pocket expense? Personally, I will not be giving this guy any money no matter how good he is or isn't. You can always hangout with Jim and I as we spend hours each week working on tons of podcast related topics. ikon
That was my thinking; seems odd to have a KS project to create a 'text book'.
