Metro Applications: can they be installed on a drive other then C:?

Anyone figured this out yet? I have searched and can't seem to find anything that might lead me to believe that Metro applications can be re-pointed to say the D: instead of installing on C:

Interesting, had not thought of that one but you are absolutely right. Search all through the options and could not find away on how to do that. As it only impact Metro apps which are not that large, I am not sure it is a huge problem but it is annoying none the less. Good catch.

I'm not so sure that will remain true pcdoc. Think Photoshop Metro, or Autocad Metro. Some might say Adobe & AutoDesk will never do that, but I wouldn't be so sure - MS is pushing very hard for Metro.

Well, from what I can see the Metro applications are installed under: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Packages

 

So moving your C:\Users folder to the D: should make it so all of the Metro applications are installed to the D:

 

I have not proved this concept out but it sounds like it will work.
