jwolfera
Dave has a blog post about leaving a remote desktop session and getting back to the desktop with all running programs. I thought that this was great but the one thing that I was missing was that media center stops when you enter RDP. So, I did some looking to find out what I can do to get media center to start backup after exiting. This is what I found. Create a .bat file and paste this into it.tscon RDP-Tcp#0 /dest:consoleping -n 5 localhost > NULRunDLL32.exe C:\Windows\ehome\ehuihlp.dll,BootMediaCenter Save it as a batch file and run as admin. You may have to restart the pc that you are remoting into. RDP closes and media center starts backup. May not be the best way to do it but it works for me. Thoughts?
