The foam cover is not the same thing as a pop filter. Mike Howard tried that option and it didn't work very well. I know it's expensive, but the pop filter made for the blue really works best. it's good to have a shock mount and an arm as well. One you are in, you need to be all in!

Welcome to the club boys!

Crap, I remember Mike talking about the foam covers.

Congrats. I went with the free delivery but since I don't have prime (sorry GA) I have to wait till next week. Got the pop screen thingy too. My ETA right now is sometime between te 23rd and the 27th :)

Would love to see a live preshow but I have some late meetings I have to attend so I wont be home till 8pm :(

Just for fun I had checked on the price for next day -- it was over $50 just for the Yeti!!! You really lucked out with them being so close to you!!

Expecting really good sound in the future. :)

Got mine today along with the pop screen -- I'm a little bummed out -- there's no easy way to attach the pop screen to the base of the Yeti -- it's really designed to attach to a microphone stand that is screwed into the bottom of the Yeti -- went to ACE to see if they had some threaded 5/8-27 pipe/tube but they didn't so temp solution is to mount the pop screen onto a clamp that's attached to the stand.

How did you do it?
