That unknown port on the Microserver motherboard that looks like a USB 3.0 connector is a TPM module connector

It is used to encrypt hard drives so that they are unreadable in other systems.

Thanks Yoda! I'd been wondering about that connector too.

BTW, loved you appearance on the Average Guy Podcast. It's been over 20 years since I've looked at Ladder Logic -- great discussion!

Yoda:

Did you get the pop filter thingy?

Just placed my order for the Yeti Blue from Amazon for $101 -- should get here next week. Didn't order the pop filter thingy -- maybe I should have?

Do you have a part no. or pic for that? We have several Raidio Shacks in town here -- be nice to pick one up for that price on the way home.

$10 would be a LOT better than the $45+ Amazon wants for the filter thingy

The foam cover is not the same thing as a pop filter. Mike Howard tried that option and it didn't work very well. I know it's expensive, but the pop filter made for the blue really works best. it's good to have a shock mount and an arm as well. Once you are in, you need to be all in!

Welcome to the club boys!

foam covers are great for wind noise, but that's different from 'pops'.
