I figure GA will take over the gigapxl project (http://www.gigapxl.org/gallery-Dallas.htm) saw a show on nova about it back in 2005 that sparked my interest in photography being at the time they were the only digital photos i had ever seen that the more you zoomed in the better they got. Probably their best example is the shot of San Diego at night http://www.gigapxl.org/gallery-SanDiegoNight.htm where from the original image they can zoom in across the bay and make out the painting on a wall in a high rise (scary) Given that the guy who ran it, also designed the len's for hubble he at least knows what he is doing

Thank goodness he's the guy who designed the lens, not the one who built it :P
