full drive

Recommended Posts

The client backup folder is not limited to 2TB AFAIK (and certainly not to 2GB :) ). My client backups are on a 4.4TB volume. I'm not anywhere near 2TB in backup size yet, because I only use the client backup to back up my client OS drives.

You can RAID 2x2TB drives to get 4TB, but the only RAID level you can use is RAID0. This level will stripe the disks together as one drive. Be aware this RAID level has zero redundancy, and many people don't recommend using it. But, it's up to you. I have used it quite successfully in the past myself.

You can do the RAID in the BIOS (hardware level) or in Windows, using Disk Manager - your choice. In Disk Manager, you would 'extend' the volume.
