WireBoy 0
Recent web surfing led me to discover the tiny PCs made by Zotac. I had done some recent research on the AMD Fusion APUs, since I recently bought a new Lenovo X120e from Woot that uses an AMD E-350. I found that Zotac has a super miniature model, the ZBOX nano AD10, that uses the same APU. http://www.zotac.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage_images-SRW.tpl&product_id=380&category_id=148&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=100266&lang=en I plan to play with this as a set top box / HTPC, either with Windows 7 (Media Center), XBMC Live, or OpenELEC. The lowest price I found was $200 from Buy.com for the barebones model (no RAM, HDD, or OS). I'll have the RAM and HDD from my Lenovo laptop to recycle after I upgrade it to 8GB and SSD, although the SSD will probably spoil me and I'll want to get one for the AD10. http://www.buy.com/prod/zotac-zbox-nano-ad10-desktop-computer-amd-fusion-e-350-1-60-ghz-mini/224471292.html One cool feature- it comes with a Media Center style IR remote control. The AD10's got a built-in IR receiver, or you can use the included USB IR receiver for instances where you might have the box hidden. It also comes with a VESA mount that allows you to, for example, mount it to the back of your flat panel TV. Several cool Youtube videos:
