The firmware update should tell you what was chnaged from one verison to another. At a command prompt type ipconfig /all and look for the active connection to see if that active MAC address (the one with an IP) is the same as the one you are trying to assign on the router.

Can you tell me if the mac is different now then the one you started with also does the sabortooth have 2 nics

 

The mac is the same and the MB only has one nic.

It didn't say anything about enabling other mac types for reservations. All it mentioned was correcting a mac address spelling problem. Oh well, it worked.

Ahh...something in the code was not putting in to the reservation what you were typing. Like you said...all is well now.
