My iPhone's updating to iOS 5. I'm reading over the release notes. (I saved them to a file.) Over 200 updates, including wireless sync to iTunes? Who do they think they are? Zune? :D

Looks like it includes some lock screen functionality. I'll be interested to see how it works....still dl'ing the firmware.

Odd, I got a message from Sprint yesterday (only because I have a $2 credit balance with them) saying the 4S or whatever its called will have unlimited data. Almost worth going back but I think I will be going with the Windows phone.

How did the update go, dvn? I had no problems updating my 3gs iPhone and my iPad2 to iOS 5. I had some minor difficulty with registering my iPhone 4s yesterday. A quick trip to AT&T fixed that issue.

iTunes recovered the phone along with the update. I like the new lock screen features: camera comes up when you tap the home key(?) twice + notifications and the ability to slide the icon associated with the notification to the right and go right to the app/notification. Also, if I'm listening to a podcast, its image shows up and the episode title notes scroll across the top. I'm liking this.

Mine is sitting in the box still. Just got home from a Vegas trip and still need to sync photos and backup the old one.

The camera button in ios5 is pretty cool. When the phone is locked, double tap the home button and you will get a camera icon that will take you straight to it. Another feature that they finally enabled is the ability to use the volume up button for the shutter. It takes some getting used to as I seem to flip my camera the other way with the buttons on the bottom.
