tinkererguy
I have no further details, other than what's seen on the author's site, posted on Sep 19 2011 apparently. With all such products, I always wonder about things like speed under actual use (can it handle multiple HD streams without hiccups, while data re-shuffling is underway?), we'll have to wait and see, how long we wait is also apparently unknown. Below is a cut-and-paste of all the text from that site, Sep 25, 2011 (the site also has some screenshots as well): http://openegg.org/2011/09/19/complete-re-implementation-of-the-windows-storage-pool-functionality-spoilers Complete re-implementation of the Windows Storage Pool functionality (spoilers) by BRAHIM on SEPTEMBER 19, 2011 I have been fairly productive over the past weekend as I completed the re-implementation of the Windows version of the FlexRAID Storage Pooling functionality.I made the decision to undertake this effort about two weeks ago and went in feet first not knowing what I was getting myself into. Well, things went a lot smoother than feared. Key features about this new implementation: Greater stability The Storage Pool can now act as a true NTFS or FAT/FAT32 drive Full NTFS security and full ACLs Better integration into the Windows ecosystem Full native support for WHS v2 and Windows Storage Server (fully manageable through the dashboard)

tojoski
Good info, I have high hopes for integration with the WHS dashboard. I tried flexraid back when I was running 2008r2 and decided it was just too dang complicated.
krom
Hmmm...I don't know if I can put my faith in someone who makes a post on 9-19 but doesn't talk like a pirate. There's something just not right about that. ;-)
