More importantly, Analog's link is version two and therefore I think it is worth it. I personally wouldn't get the plus version which I believe is like a dot releas on version one. I could be wrong on that.

Hell yeah I would! This SSD uses the barefoot controller and for the price is miles ahead of a spindle drive. This is a perfect drive for an HTPC, O/S drive, RAID array, Swap disc or Cache SSD, if you have a Z68 mobo.

These are stable solid drives I've used 6 of these generation drives for years now.

IF you can see the difference between these and a sandforce drive in day to day use then I applaud your heightened senses

About the only thing I wouldn't use it in is a laptop and that's only because it isn't 120GB or bigger. If you have a fatty laptop that can handel 2 drives I would use this for either an OS or RAID 0 setup.

Then you'd recommend this one for a laptop if it had only a single drive (the 120GB version for the same #/GB cost) http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227739 ?
