Loading V1 on it and just letting it run/cook for awhile would also burn it in so that you know you have a good reliable system when you're ready for 2011.

Indeed. Equipment is certainly more reliable out of the box than in the past. Even so, I think burning in is always a good idea. At least it can eliminate 1 more variable when installing 2011. Playing variable whack-a-mole is never fun.
