NAS Device with two separate IP address Streams

I'm looking for a NAS device that can have two separate IP address streams. Essentially, one port would be utilized for a local LAN that is operating a Private Network. The other would connect into a high speed line, i.e. a 3 meg DSL connection. Users locally within the private network would be able to access it through the private network, however users outside of the "office with the NAS device" would be able to connect into the NAS device through an SFTP connection with the proper credentials through the high speed DSL connection.

Does such a product exist that allows two simulataneous IP address streams and if so, can anyone provide some products?

Using something like the synology or Dlink will work well for what you are trying to do as security is established by user/password. Does not use two actual IP addresses but connected to your router it does. The files are accessed internally through your network and from outside via a DNS service such as xxxx.homeserver.com and port forwarding to your device.

You might also take a look at the Thecus products. Specifically the N4200 ECO as this box has 2 ethernet ports and will provide the functionality you are describing (including SFTP access).

As PCDOC described above, you don't necessarily need 2 IP addresses as a router will direct an external IP address to a device on your internal network.
