MSS EX487 CPU Stock Heat-Sink

From what I read, they have non standard screw locations so you would have to machine one.

Thanks DieHard. I was just thinking that if there was a way to increase the cooling of the CPU my EX487 may last longer. Joe

While I'm not planning this Mod at this time I did find a post with instructions by user "Turbocivic" at http://www.mediasmarthome.com/forum/thread/11977/HP-EX-485-CPU-upgrade-sucessful/?page=5#7331 on how he modified a Thermaltake CL-PO187

 

I thought this was worth posting in case someone should follow this thread.
