Sorry to resurrect the thread.. but has anyone tried booting from a mini windows XP or BartPE disk? I usually carry around a utility USB with various Linux distros and tools, and it would be nice to be able to ghost off a backup. Presumably I would need to inject the drivers in somehow...?

Apparently if you put the driver in HBCD\XP\Drivers (if your using Hirens) it will pick it up.... assuming there was an XP driver....

Just an update.. the driver injection in Hirens didn't work, so I started looking for other alternatives. The free Macrium Reflect software has an option to create a bootable PE ISO which I stuck on my utility USB stick. Whilst this doesn't have support for the RocketRaid on boot, it does have an option to add drivers once its up... very handy. Heard good things about this, though have not used it in anger yet...
