How do I set an Actiontec 704WG-B to Bridge Mode?

I've got an Actiontec 704WG-B DSL modem/wireless router supplied from Verizon running my home network. I want to get a new 802.11n gigabit router to run the network and work with WHS 2011. Anyone know how to put the 704WG-B in bridge mode so that it can work with the new router. Is this even what I need to do to the modem? The modem has the red and black Verizon firmware. Thanks in advance for any help.

One is to just add a new router in front of it, and disable NAT or put the verizon router as a DMZ and kill the wireless. That effectively makes it a passthrough modem. Here is the link to the manuals for your router. Have not tried it on your particular router so you may have to experiment a bit but that is the basic concept. Worse comes to worse, verizon cour probably walk you through it.

Thanks Michael. I've read the manual above and it wasn't much help. I wondered about disabling NAT (if I did this I would also want to kill the wireless, right?).

Verizon gives the instructions below, but this doesn't seem like the right answer even to a dummie like me.
