* ssh enabled

* temperature sensors and rotation of the cooler is not detected in vSphere

When it comes to ESX, it's best to stick with their compatability guide. That being said, you don't always HAVE to if it's your stuff.

Maybe that answers the non-question posted question, No-Control? My hint was the "onboard NIC > not recognized", but your guess is as good as mine. Maybe this is to run Homeserver on top of ESX?

The post was just to put here a functional configuration that is running is almost two years.

I'm assembling a new server, then post here the news!
