I've had to Resume about 5 times already: 89% and counting :)

What was the size of your download? It is showing as 2,895,872 KB which is less than the 4.1Gb I expected. I am doing another download now...says 25 minutes.

Interesting...the second download was 4,204,836 Kb...more f what I was expecting.

Mine finally completed and it's exactly the same size. Isn't it nice when you get more than you asked for? :)

In the Microsoft File Transfer Manager, I went into Options, Connections tab, then went with "Retry Delay" 1 and "Request Timeout" 10 seconds, turned on http and https, and on the Performance tab went with "Maximum Concurrent Tranfers" of 4, then it worked (no more stalling at 0% while trying to connect). I got the complete download in about 2.5 hours.

Total bytes should be 4,204,836 for the install disc. If you are looking for SBS Essentials, it is there also under the SBS 2011 header.

That's great to know. Any idea how to get it to launch without actually signing into technet and downloading something?

Is there any way that people, such as myself, who do not have an account in both MSDN and Technet can download this?

Thanks

Not at this time. Based on the expected pricing, and one more copy of Win7 or office and you might want to consider get a subscription. The expected price of WHS-2011 is going to be 149-199. The subscription is $199 and you can get all the MS software you can load.

I have downloaded both SBS 2011 Essentials files, but as of this moment in time, keys are not available for download. angry.gif
