bigo93
Well my microserver started having a red flashing health LED 4Hz, which claims to be a power fault. Reseated all cables, removed drives and ram, still red LED. Will not power up at all. Integrated Management Log shows 257 System Revision [NOT SET] [NOT SET] 1 Firmware flashed (iLO 4 2.78) 256 Power 01/01/1970 00:01 01/01/1970 00:01 18 System Power Fault Detected (XR: 20 00 MID: FF F5 FE 01 FF FF FF 06 06 00 00 02 01 85 40 01 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00) 255 POST Message 05/05/2021 11:17 05/05/2021 11:17 1 POST Error: 1785-Slot X Drive Array Not Configured 254 Maintenance 05/05/2021 11:09 05/05/2021 11:09 1 Maintenance note: Intelligent Provisioning was loaded. 253 Maintenance 05/05/2021 10:49 05/05/2021 10:49 1 Maintenance note: Intelligent Provisioning was loaded. 252 System Revision 05/05/2021 10:22 05/05/2021 10:22 1 Firmware flashed (iLO 4 2.50) 251 Maintenance 05/05/2021 10:02 05/05/2021 10:02 1 Maintenance note: Opt-in 250 Maintenance 05/05/2021 10:02 05/05/2021 10:02 1 Maintenance note: Intelligent Provisioning was loaded. 249 POST Message 05/05/2021 10:48 05/05/2021 10:00 3 POST Error: 1785-Slot X Drive Array Not Configured Then for some reason the rest of the page is just spamming of POST Error: 1785-Slot X Drive Array Not Configured I updated ilo to 2.78 after issue to see if that would reset anything, but no still flashing red LED 😢 So guess dead motherboard then? schoondoggy
It may be a bad system board. Have you tried a different PSU?
E3000
It may also be a BIOS issue? Have you tried resetting the internal switches (can’t hurt if it’s given up the ghost)? I remember having an issue related to Intelligent Provisioning and all the onboard RAID and BIOS software (sorry I can’t remember what it’s all called, I’m not that technical lol). My issue was fixed by resetting both software and hardware and it stopped the red lights.
bigo93
I have tried a PC PSU, still a red light. Tried swapping to backup BIOS in iLO, not sure if it worked in swapping it, but still red light I set switch 1,5,6 I think to reset the CMOS, still red light. Or do I have to set all 12 switches to on? Edited October 11, 2021 by bigo93
