Rodf
I got a new PC from Newegg. It was supposed to have come with a 2 TB SSD and a 2 TB HDD. I brought up File Explorer, but only saw one drive, the C drive: So, at first, I was pretty upset. Where's my second drive? I got onto Newegg, connected with a customer service rep, then realized that perhaps there was a second drive there. So I then brought up Windows 10 Disk Management. Sure enough, there's a second drive. Only it's not recognized as a drive D. Also notice that the C drive is on Disk 1, whereas the unidentified drive is on Disk 0. If I do whatever it is I have to do to make the second drive visible, won't it then try to become the boot drive? So, here's the questions I have First, how to I make that second drive visible/identifiable to Windows 10? Second, how to I make that second drive not become the boot drive? I'd rather leave the C drive as is. Make the second drive my D drive. Third, how do I verify that my C drive is the SSD and my second drive is a HDD? I’m sure that you have figured this out already 😀, but if you right-click a drive in Disk Management, you can see the drive model directly BR, Bjørn
