IP connections to WHS

Software requests would be matched to an outgoing request from behind the router (inside the LAN) so thats not it. It is probably nothing more than the usual kiddie hackers seeing what they can get to.

The problem with this is he should then not be getting any hits on Remote Alert. If the router isn't forwarding anything from outside, how could anything hit his WHS?

Well since removing AAC there has still been the odd IP address appear. I've pinned one down to being my squeezebox and not sure on the other - I guess its just add-ins looking for updates and such as always on remote port 80. The one IP in particular that was always showing up has now gone since removal of AAC. I guess I'm as safe as I'll ever be. Thanks everyone!
