Deepthought
Folks, looking for ideas here. System rebooted from an update, now I am stuck in a recurring 0xc00002e2. The system will not start in safe mode, nor in last good configuration, but it will start in “directory services restore”. So I am thinking the update, borked something in the active directory. I ran a esentutl /p “c:\windows\ntds\ntds.dit”. Which did no find an issue to correct. suggestions for next steps?

Deepthought
It boots! Thanks, This contained two steps that were not in the MS article on the same topic, I assume it was those that made the difference. Now to retry the update..
