HDD's not recognised in Windows 10 with SSD in Slot 5

Recommended Posts

Hi all,

I recently switched from a Gen10 to a Gen8 microserver with a Xeon E3-1265L.
A SSD was mounted in Slot 5 and I used the B120i Raid controller to boot from it and install Windows 10 on it. So far so good!

This evening I moved my 4 HDD's from my Gen10 to the Gen8. Windows 10 however did not recognise the drives.

I booted back into the SSA and created a RAID0 array for each physical drive, the same as I did for the SSD. So I have 5 physical drives now, all assigned to an array.
The SSD is Array A, the first HDD is Array B and so on. Booting back to Windows 10 however I still cannot see the HDD's but the SSD, as it is the boot drive is visible.

What can I do to enable the drives in Windows 10? I am out of ideas.

what does disk management in Windows 10 show? you may need to initialize and assign drive letters in Windows.
