dreamonn
I've just bought a Gen8, installed a P222 & attached a Gen7 as a raid cage as shown in this post. The drives I want to use in the Gen7 raid cage have been taken from a second Gen7 which has a P410, in which they were configured as a Raid5 array. The drives have been recognised as a raid array by the P222 in the Gen8, but I just want to check how to mount this drive in Windows without losing the data on the drives. Is it as simple as initialising the drives & then creating a simple volume?
schoondoggy
Do you see the array in Windows 10 Disk Manager? If I remember correctly, you may need to assign a drive letter.
