axoid
I haven't done an exhaustive search, but I looks like hard drive prices are going up. A couple of weeks ago I was looking at prices on 4tb drives at Micro Center and they were starting around $75. Yesterday the same drives were selling at $95. schoondoggy
I have lost track of new drive pricing. With shucking external USB drives being a popular practice, I see $15 per TB seems to be the trigger point to buy those. Last drives I bought were used HGST 6TB SAS, low hours for $75 each. With Covid-19 we have seen issues with supply chain. Computer parts could be effected. PCpartpicker does have trending data for drives: https://pcpartpicker.com/trends/internal-hard-drive/
