MS Gen8 PCIe splitter

Hi guys,

I'm running my HP MS G8 server with Xeon 1230v2 and 16GB RAM. In PCIe slot I have LSI Raid Controller as I need to have same speed with all my disks (6Gb/s)

This server is mostly used for XPnology and as well time to time as ESXi host.

The problem I'm having now is that XPnology stopped supporting Broadcom NIC's so there is no way to upgrade DSM to the newest version.

During some tests I we noticed that if you turn off in BIOS native NIC and put instead Intel NIC everything works fine.

As the PCIe slot is already occupied by my HBA Card I#m looking into possibilitioes to split PCIe x16 into two PCIe x16 or x8 (use some kind of raiser that will FIT). Has anybody thought about something like this or it's not going to work ?

I'm running on my MS the newest available BIOS (J6 if I'm not mistaken)

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
