Hi all first time post after spending a couple days reading up all the thread to do with then Gen 8 so first thanks for that!

I just ordered a P212 512mb card and I'm wondering the Drives I have already made the the B120i (3 separate RAID 0) will they just plug into the P212 and go or do I need to get drivers? I tried to fine them on the HP site but got lost in a sea of drivers.... I'm running Windows 7 on a 240GB SSD as my OS in the OD SATA Connector

Thanks!

Plug the P212 in your server, but do not move the drive cable from the server board, B120i, to the P212.

Update the firmware on the P212 to the latest. For drivers, Windows 7 is not a supported OS, but Server 2008 R2 drivers tend to work in Windows 7.

Thanks for the info really helpful! Just by chance any idea which driver is right? Theres over 300 coming up on the HP website and I can't see one that specially says P212

It does show 335, until you select drivers from the next menu down. Then it drops to two:

If you select firmware instead of drivers it will give you hundreds of files, until you go down one more menu and select Storage Controller. Then it drops to five:
