Joe_Miner 254
It works with BD Drives! In Part 3 of installing an ODD in my MicroServer Gen10 I connect the Data and Power to the BU50N and power up my MicroServer Gen10. When I tested it I found that the Blu-Ray Works! Joe_Miner 254
In Part 4 of installing an ODD in my MicroServer Gen10 I loaded a 4K UHD disk and tried to play it in PowerDVD but if failed because it could not install Intel’s SGX Runtime. So, for the time being I cannot play a 4K Optical Disk but I can play Blu-Ray’s as well as DVD’s in my MicroServer Gen10 X3421.
bethesdaadk 0
Thank you for the detailed instructions and parts list for this project. I just purchased the same HP Microserver on eBay and ordered a compatible DVD drive - it fits perfectly - no drilling required. Lo and behold - how do I connect the DVD to the HP? I had no idea, but found your video and went with the same solution that you did. dell mx714 floppy fdd to sata power converter cable Slim Sata Adapter Converter The key thing is that it doesn't require any special purchase of cards. Just cables that let you use what the Microserver provides. I'm eagerly awaiting the delivery of the cables and converters to see if I ordered correctly!
