jjbrunton
I've purchased a P410 that I've installed into the PCI slot but I'm having issues trying to get my SSD to be recognized by it, I've tried all sorts of combinations: Disable b120i - Nope Change to SATA legacy mode - nope Change to AHCI mode - nope In all of these configurations, the card is unable to see the SSD. I'm assuming it is because I need some way to plug the SSD into one of the SAS ports?
schoondoggy
What type of cable are you using to connect the SSD to the P410?
schoondoggy
I re-read your post. Yes you need a SFF-8087 to SATA cable to connect the SSD to the P410. Also be sure to up date the firmware on the P410. https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIAERN68H8118&cm_re=SFF-8087_to_SATA-_-9SIAERN68H8118-_-Product
