Interesting. My current WSE12R2 is a full tower Fractal Design Define XL.

http://www.fractal-design.com/home/product/cases/discontinued-products/define-xl-black-pearl

Core i5-3570K with 32 GB RAM. Running 8 x 3 TB WD Red HDDs in a RAID6 array. Also 2 SSDs.

Would love to shrink down my server’s footprint with a mini ITX build if I could exceed the performance of my current build, but using cooler, lower power Motherboard, CPU and RAM. And existing HDDs.

Not quite sure what hardware that means just yet.

Now I am using Asrock J3455-ITX, which is mini-itx.
