installing windows 10 t gen8 HP

Hello Guys ,

 

i have been trying to install windows 10 to gen8 microserver from USB but something i miss here .i don't want to use this gen 8 as server any more trying just to install windows 10 and use it as normal PC .so when i reach the step that i have to select the drive to install OS ,this menu doesn't show any drive and my drive already detected by raid bios and configured as raid 0.

so what the salutation for this ? is it something i have to disabled or to install ?

It sounds like you have the B120i RAID enabled. If so you need to have the driver for it on a USB so it can be loaded. If you are not booting from the ODD SATA port I would recommend switching to AHCI.

ty Schoo  for helping me out .could you please give me a link for downloading the driver or if you can provide me a guide to install or some more info can help to follow up with the procedure.

but @kevin.cheng brings up a good point, if you are going to use this as a PC and are not going to be using any of the RAID functionality, it would be best to switch the B120i to AHCI and mount the SSD in bay 1. These are some easy ways to mount the SSD in a tray:
