PCIe performance question

All,

I am just about to put two PCIe cards in a Gen 10, one will be a Intel X520-DA2 10GB network card and the other is an LSI 9211-8i HBA, both are Gen2 x8.

I'm wondering which will be best to put in the x4 slot. I'm thinking it should be the 10GB network card as the HBA will have 5 SSD hanging off it.

Does anyone think otherwise?

TIA

Daz

You will need to confirm that either will work in a x1 PCIe slot. Not all cards are backwards compatible to x1 PCIe.
