LightScribe

There I was, needing to make a bootable ISO image and I had no clean USB drives,,,,,, but I did have some blank DVDs and the system I was using had a LightScribe burner. I miss LightScribe:

Very nice. I recall having a LightScribe drive once but never used it. My scribe always seemed to be a Sharpie. ;)

In all seriousness I recall having a lightscribe burner, used it once or twice and went back to my permanent marker, quicker and easier than lightscribe. I do have a DVD duplicator that I can use though and that thing burns and prints full colour DVD's/CD's quickly and cheaply. It is great to fill the input bin up have it throw a dvd in each of the DVD drives (via a mechanical arm) grab them throw them in the printer and put them in the output pile. Better yet it verifies the writes and throws the duds into a third bin to throw in the trash

I had a Lightscribe burner and never used that feature. Ever.
