Hi,
I did read somewhere that it was recommended to put a heatshink on a chip in the gen8 on the motherboard but I can't remembet where I did read it.
Do someone know what I'm talking about?

Also, where can I buy heatshinks that are adapted for the gen8 motherboard?

Hi I think that is the ilo chip and a couple of others I think the heatsinks are from eBay really cheap but from China so take a while then stick them on I don't think they are made for the server but seem to be about the right size probably best googling to see if it will find the link for you

The Broadcom Ethernet chip runs hot a stick on heatsink seems to help.

Can you show me on a picture how it looks like (where it's placed on the motherboard?) Also if you know some good heatshinks to order?

It's right next to the LAN ports and the RAM slots:

If you want to buy a matching heatsink, the chip's size is 1.5 x 1.5 cm.
