Flew the DJI Phantom in Azores today. Went to a small spot away from anyone else and did some over the ocean flying. It was both nerve wracking and exhilarating all at the same time. I'll try to incorporate some video into some upcoming YouTube videos.

I've flown a few more times here. Each time gets better and better. Today was awesome. 126d37b58a0b0fff91305231acbe7359.jpg

Here is a spot we hiked down to and sat on the rocks. Breakers were slamming down below. While we were just chilling a big one drenched us. I was filming and was spared! I then put the drone up to see the waves.

Split rock, or that's what we called it.  It was about a mile out and I almost made it! Really overcast this day.  You could see the Phantom for miles.

Great holiday destination … I was lucky to visit Ponta Delgado on St. Miguel last year.

If there is ever a US-EU meet-up then this would be the place to have it!

I have a vision of everyone lounging in the volcanic pool at Terra Nostra Gardens drinking beer and discussing cooling their rig!
