It will be a complete RAM swap out as I want 16GB, just never heard of the cheaper ones.  Chucked in an offer, fingers crossed

Netlist is an OEM that sells to system integrators, so no support or warranty, but I have had good luck with their memory over the years.

i would like to ask you for advice which i should choose.

thank you

Looks like either would work, correct type and speed, unbuffered, ECC.

Both SK-Hynix and Samsung manufacture their own DRAM

Hello everybody,

I want to upgrade my Microserver Gen8 (G1610t) with currently 4GB of RAM. I tried to follow a lot of guides and advices to find proper replacement RAM and it would be really cool to confirm if this works with my Gen8:

Below is the type. The link is in dutch, but the specifications are pretty universal :)

Thank you in advance

Hi. Just trying to help like the others did for me here.

CPU upgrade to XEON E3-1265l v2 was a dream as well.

The above worked as well. Check it out 😉

Thank you. I ordered them now. I actually found this page before, but because of the prices in kangaroo dollars, I thought they wouldnt ship abroad. I also ordered a xeon e3-1220L (v1 though, so only 1333 MHz for me) so that will be a neat upgrade for the old gen8.
